Celebrate brews for the brave at the Outer Banks’ first beer festival that supports local OBX veterans. From the good folks that brought us the OBX Beer Fest this spring, this fest is offering up seriously great music, food and all the craft beer you care to sample. What’s not to love?
This Saturday, honor those who served by enjoying the new Americana Beer Fest. The event features veteran-owned breweries as well as our three local brewpubs, and proceeds will benefit the Dare County Veterans Advisory Council.
The Fest will be at The Pavilion at Pirate’s Cove Marina this Saturday, from 5 ’till 9pm. Each ticket includes your own keepsake tasting glass with unlimited samples of more than 25 styles from veteran-owned breweries, samples of culinary treats from area restaurants, the return of our Craft Soda Garden, a Game Zone for Grown Folks and much more!
A lineup boasting an eclectic fusion of bluegrass, blues, bluegrass, folk and rock is set to take the stage: welcome Dangermuffin and the Hackensaw Boys!
The Veterans Advisory Council helps Dare County Veterans by serving as a liaison with the community in coordinating services and activities benefiting Veterans and their families. Members of the Veterans Advisory Council solicit information and provide updates about community based activities honoring Veterans.
Brews for the Brave’s hope is that by donating proceeds to this group, together we can benefit an array of veteran organizations here on the Outer Banks.
PLEASE NOTE:
They not offer designated driver tickets due to the number of ancillary event elements that are fun for all! All patrons MUST be over the age 21. No children will be permitted. No exceptions. (We have them and love them, but this isn’t a kid-friendly event, so score yourself a sitter, folks!
