The Atlantic Ocean brings the world to our Outer Banks feet, and this summer has brought no shortage of interesting visitors. As proof we offer this Rehoboth Beach lifeguard stand that washed up on the sands of Salvo yesterday. Thanks to a blog Rich King wrote for Delaware Surf Fishing we can now trace ocean currents from Delaware to Hatteras Island.
“Not long ago seven life guard stands in Rehoboth Beach were thrown into the ocean. Supposedly as a prank. Several weeks ago we reported that all had been found. However there was some confusion on the number recovered. I never could get a solid answer if all had been found or not.”
