Manveena Singh is a remarkable addition to the Outer Banks population. In her past life she’s been a very successful sales manager of scents and perfumes in New York, and in her current life she has kept her NYC connection alive as an adjunct professor and Advisory Board member at the Fashion Institute of Technology while she lives as a single mom on the OBX. As Russ Lay’s article on the Outer Banks Voice outlines, Manveena loves a challenge and is launching Manveena’s Solutions, a line of USDA certified organic products that includes face, body and hair oils.
“Outer Banks resident Manveena Singh has built an impressive career in the world of commercial scents, including perfumes. She shares Monahan’s concerns about the health effects of many perfumes and other scented products we apply to our skin.
After a major change of course in her personal life, Singh is now trying to launch an FDA fully certified line of organic cosmetic products.
And, our small population here on the Outer Banks plays a very important part in her strategy to change the way women (and men) think about these products.
But time is running out. The question now is: ” Can her local friends and residents supply enough support through the concept of “crowdfunding” to take her product line ‘Manveena’s Solutions’ to the next level?”
She currently has her OPYN Pure Face Oil for sale on amazon.com in a beta test, as well as on manveenassolutions.com. Locally you can find her Pure Face oil at the Dragonfly Inn in Corolla, Island Acupuncture and Mom’s Sweet Shop in Kill Devil Hills.
You can feel great about yourself and score some great products as a reward when you help support Manveena’s Solutions through crowdfunding! Learn more about her product line and donate HERE.
