Five national touring bands will travel to Mike Dianna’s Grill Room in Corolla on Sunday, May 20 to play at the 7th Annual Mustang Spring Jam from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

One of the country’s most sought after bands, The Marcus King Band, will be making their Outer Banks debut headlining Mustang Spring Jam 7.

“The band and I are looking forward to seeing all y’alls smilin’ faces our first time on the Outer Banks,” said bandleader Marcus King.

Indie rock-reggae band Of Good Nature, progressive folk band Fireside Collective, southern funk rock band Porch 40, reggae band Sensi Trails and student bands from the Mustang Outreach Program will also be playing at Spring Jam 7.

“Of Good Nature is extremely excited for Spring Jam 7 in the OBX this May,” said Of Good Nature guitarist and vocalist Cameron Brown. “The line-up is killer which definitely brings the best out of our playing. We like to put on a high-energy show to get everyone moving and smiling. We’ll be performing a lot of our newly released singles as well as some of our older tunes. At festivals, we like to throw in our instrumental funk-ness as well. Who’s ready to party?”

Spring Jam guests will enjoy great music from a variety of genres as well as delicious food and drinks. Mike Dianna’s Grill Room will be serving their outdoor cookout menu, beer from Boulevard Brewing Company, wine and cocktails, including a specialty cocktail curated by event sponsor Outer Banks Distilling.

Tickets to the fun-filled event can be purchased at MustangMusicFestival.com, Trio in Kitty Hawk, and at Mike Dianna’s Grill Room in Corolla. Mustang Spring Jam 7 tickets are $25 in advance and $30 day of show. Children 12 and under are free.

A very limited number of advance only VIP tickets are also available for $99. VIP tickets include access inside Mike Dianna’s Grill Room for a gourmet brunch and dinner, three beverage tickets, a private bar, and access to the restrooms inside the Grill Room. VIP guests will also have early access to the venue.

“It amazes us how hard Mike Dianna and his team work to make this festival a reality each year,” said Matt Slate, co-owner of Mustang Spring Jam 7 sponsor Outer Banks Upholstery. “Every year we look forward to Mustang Spring Jam, it gives us a chance to be a small part of a great community.”

A portion of the event proceeds will go to the Corolla Wild Horse Fund and the Mustang Outreach Program. The Corolla Wild Horse Fund protects, conserves, and responsibly manages the herd of wild Colonial Spanish Mustangs roaming freely on the northernmost Currituck Outer Banks. The Mustang Outreach Program supplements the cultural arts programs in local schools with world class music performances, residencies and mentoring programs.
