From Ocracoke to Whalehead fireworks and parades the OBX celebrates with a BANG.
From July 3rd to a Friday Independence Day celebration on the Kill Devil Hills beach, the Outer Banks joins in the nations’s 4th of July activities. The Outer Banks Voice has a full listing.

• Parade, downtown, 5 p.m.
• Fireworks, Missing Mill Park, dusk.
Ocracoke
• Traditional island square dance, music by Molasses Creek, Town Square 6 to 8 p.m.
• Gathering at the NPS docks, dance tunes, 7 to 10 p.m.
• Fireworks, Silver Lake, 9:15 p.m.
