Wow! Fifty years for the North Carolina Beach Buggy Association–and they are still as active and involved as they were when the organization was founded. That’s just one of the milestones we discovered as we read this piece from “My Outer Banks Home.”
“If you’ve received helpful advice about access to surf fishing or four-wheel driving on our beaches, chances are that person’s vehicle has one of the North Carolina Beach Buggy Association’s (NCBBA) ubiquitous, blue license plates on the front bumper. The NCBBA has been preserving vehicular access to the natural beach resources of the Outer Banks since 1964.”
