In North Carolina, all liquor and spirits other than beer and wine are sold at ABC stores. A story on The Outer Banks Voice notes the Nags Head ABC store, currently located by the Stop-Quick gas station (lovingly known to locals as Biscuits N’ Porn), needs a temporary home while the old building is torn down and replaced with a new, larger one.
“Plans for the temporary location next to TJ Maxx in the Satterfield Landing shopping center will be presented to the North Carolina ABC Commission Wednesday.
A review by Alcohol Law Enforcement says the ABC Board plans to lease the space from Rebkee Partners Satterfield LLC under a one-year lease at $4,000 a month.”
